Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann thinks Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane is unhappy with his role at the ufabet club.
The Senegal international has made an impressive start with three goals in his first three games but has failed to score in his last five games as he adapts to Julian Nagelsmann’s plans. That gave him to stand as a center forward
“That’s not his position, I saw him at Liverpool FC where he played in the middle. Now he plays that position at FC Bayern as well,” Hamann said.
“He does his best when wading from the outside. He doesn’t look happy to me. Other players such as Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala or in the defense against Lucas Hernandez. Who are currently injured, are showing great results.
“Nobody talks about Mane at the moment, he looks lonely and he’s hardly involve in the game, FC Bayern will have to understand that.”
‘Nobody is talking about Mane at the moment. He seems isolated and hardly takes part in the game. FC Bayern has to get a grip on that.’
Bayern surprisingly sit third in the Bundesliga after six games of the new season, two points behind table-toppers Union Berlin, having drawn three and won three.
In contrast, old club Liverpool have failed to adjust to their star forward’s departure as replacement Darwin Nunez is so far struggling to fill the goals void left by Mane.
