Spike Lee‘s Oldboy remake was originally scheduled to be released on October 11th, 2013 now it will be released on October 25th, 2013. It’s not a drastic change, only two weeks. It moves the remake away from Sin City: A Dame to Kill, and closer to both Ender’s Game and Thor: The Dark World. The movie stars Josh Brolin as Joe Doucett, with Elizabeth OlsenSharlto Copley, and Samuel L. Jackson.

OLDBOY follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement without any indication of his captor’s motive. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. His quest for revenge leads him into an ill-fated relationship with a young social worker (Elizabeth Olsen) and ultimately to an illusive man (Sharlto Copley) who allegedly holds the key to his salvation.

Elizabeth Olsen has revealed wearing a “crazy lip colour” instantly changes her mood.

The 24-year-old American actress joked that a bright lipstick acts as an instant uplifter, naming the Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede in Designer as one of her favourites. The red-carpet regular says this is her secret tip for switching on the glamour at short notice. “When I have to go somewhere and I’m not in the mood, I just apply mascara and a crazy lip colour,” Elizabeth told Miss Vogue. “Then I look in the mirror and think: ‘I’m awake!’ I love how matte all the Revlon colours are.”

When it comes to high-profile events, the Hollywood beauty admits she rarely does her own face. Instead she relies on the services of a make-up artist to get her looking flawless. “I’ve never had a breakout before a big event – I wouldn’t know what to do, I’d just hope the make-up person would! I definitely wouldn’t pop it, that screws up your skin completely,” she admitted. “I rely on good foundation instead.”

Elizabeth shared the latest beauty trend she’s been trying. It’s down to her being lazy rather than for style purposes. “I like metallic nails, but recently I’ve also been getting ‘male’ manicures, where you just have your cuticles done. I’m so lazy about taking the colour off when it chips,” she finished.
