EXCLUSIVE: Wild Bunch’s newly created LA-based sales company Insiders is launching Sicario screenwriter Taylor Sheridan’s Wind River, starring Chris Pine and Elizabeth Olsen.

Pine is set to play a fish and game hunter forced to confront his past when he joins a rookie FBI agent in a quest to solve a murder in the lawless Wind River Indian Reservation.

It is a directorial debut for actor and wrier Sheridan, whose writing credits also include action thriller Comancheria, another hot property at this year’s Cannes market.

His next film, the long-gestating spy picture “The Man From U.N.C.L.E,” having recently been pushed back to next August, “Sherlock Holmes” helmer Guy Ritchie is already gearing up for his next project. The director’s long been developing a new take on the legend of King Arthur, Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. The script is penned by “Awake” writer and “Edge Of Tomorrow” producer Joby Harold, and Ritchie landed his first cast member a few weeks back in the shape of the ever-awesome Idris Elba.

And now, Deadline and Variety report that he’s found both his main character and his female lead: the trades say “Sons Of Anarchy” and “Pacific Rim” star Charlie Hunnam will likely play King Arthur, and “Godzilla” and “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” actress Elizabeth Olsen is circling the role of his wife Guinevere.

Should the deals close, the pair would join Elba in the project, with the “Luther” actor playing Arthur’s mentor, a Merlin-type character called Belvedere. As you might imagine, Warners has big plans for the project: Harold was said to have pitched a six-film franchise, and we hear rumors that the studio is planning, with a crushing sense of inevitability, for the series to be a sort of medieval “Avengers,” with characters getting spin-offs before teaming up around the Round Table. Yep, we’re rolling our eyes too. The first film, which has been referred to by the name “Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur,” will hit theaters on July 22nd, 2016, and it’ll almost certainly be half as good as “Monty Python And The Holy Grail.”

Elizabeth Olsen will be joining the ranks of the Avengers as the Scarlet Witch… at least, according to Samuel L Jackson.

After revealing the addition of the Scarlet Witch in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ there’s been plenty of speculation as to who will eventually be cast in the role. But it looks as though Nick Fury has been busy as the Avengers Initiative continues to recruit… and the legendary Samuel L Jackson reveals that Elizabeth Olsen is already on board to play the Scarlet Witch.

In a brief but revealing interview with the Wall Street Journal, Samuel L Jackson let slip that Elizabeth Olsen will be joining the ranks of the Avengers. “I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” Jackson said about ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. “I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

Of course, it’s not 100% official until confirmed by Marvel… but coming from Samuel L Jackson, I think it’s safe to say the cat’s out of the bag. According to earlier rumours, Joss Whedon flirted with the idea of bringing Olsen on board after his first choice, Saoirse Ronan, turned down the role. But don’t think for one minute that she’s a sub-par replacement – starring in both the ‘Oldboy’ remake as well as ‘Godzilla’ in 2014, it looks as though she’ll be on her way to becoming a household name by the time the Avengers sequel is released.

There’s still the small matter of who will play her brother, Quicksilver. And that honour seems to go to Aaron Taylor Johnson – the star of ‘Kick-Ass’ and ‘Kick-Ass 2’. How these two new Avengers will fit into the team remains to be seen… but we can’t wait to find out.
